Build Smart, Save Money
A new build is the perfect opportunity to incorporate sustainable, energy-efficient solutions from the start. By installing a heat pump alongside other renewable technologies, you significantly reduce your energy bills, all while cutting your carbon emissions, helping you to meet requirements as per SAP Calculations. To make your green transition even more affordable, you can take advantage of the £7,500 government grant, provided your project is eligible for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme. Whether you're a homeowner or developer, we work closely with you to design a bespoke heating system that meets your specific needs and is tailored to your space.
With the likely phasing out of gas boilers, tightening regulations and rising energy costs, installing renewable technologies now guarantees a greener, more cost-effective home for years to come. Avoid expensive future upgrades and visible retrofits with this modern, sustainable solution from the start.
Future-Proof Your Home
We design heating systems that integrate seamlessly with other sustainable technologies like solar panels, cooling, battery storage and EV charging. Our holistic approach ensures your new build is fully equipped for a green, energy-efficient future.
Seamless Integration
Installing a heat pump and other renewable technologies as part of your new build not only reduces running costs but also increases the value of your property. Energy-efficient homes are increasingly attractive to buyers and stand out in a competitive market.

Understanding Heat Pumps
A heat pump works by transferring heat from the outside to the inside, using a small amount of energy to do so. When heating a home, the heat pump’s outdoor unit absorbs heat from the ambient air, even in cold temperatures, and transfers it into hot water in the house. This efficient method of heat exchange enables heat pumps to run on minimal electricity, drastically cutting CO2 emissions.
Space Requirements
The system requires two main spaces: an outdoor unit for the heat exchange and a hot water tank and control system inside the house. Econic offers three main options for interior equipment to accommodate various space constraints, ensuring a tailored solution for your home.
Econic fitted a heat pump into our new home as part of a major retrofit. They liaised with the builder, kept us in the loop at all times, explained everything to us during the handover, and delivered a great and efficient system.
